Job Description

Job Description: This position oversees and manages the efforts of all departments within the site to ensure the performance and actions best meet the need of the site, customer, and company while providing excellent customer service. The Director, General Manager is responsible for budgetary oversight within their jurisdiction. This position maintains and understands their sites contractual compliance, understands deliverables within their scope of work, and works with all departments within SG to maintain customer relations. This position is customer focused and coordinates efforts between the Lottery and SG to meet their sales and fiscal goals.

* Define and recommend objectives in each of the departmental disciplines. Develop specific short term and long-term plans and programs for the departments.

* Routinely and proactively communicate with the Operations, Systems, and Network departments regarding service and performance issues. Escalate customer issues that require additional support and visibility.

* Maintains and understands contractual obligations within their specific jurisdictional location.

* Works with corporate to maintain, extend, and win contracts within their jurisdiction.

* Design plans to sell additional hardware and software to their lottery site to increase revenue for both SG and Lottery jurisdictions.

* Foster a culture of collaboration and teamwork across the site to ensure the achievement of business goals and initiatives.

* Fostering a relationship with the customer to ensure contract compliance and enhance ways to increase revenue within the state.

* Works closely with Government Relations in SG

* Review and understand the deliverables and their timeframes to ensure compliance with delivery timeframes.

* Evaluate processes and procedures at the site to improve effectiveness and efficiency for our customers.

* Direct oversight and ownership of the budget and profit & loss statements as it relates to their jurisdiction.

* Develop solutions and recommend ways to improve sales for the Lottery to meet their fiscal responsibility.

Skills and Requirements

Qualifications:

* Bachelor's degree in computer science or other and/or 5 years of related work experience

* Understanding on systems hardware and network communications.

* 3+ years of management or supervisory experience

* Financial management, budget development and reporting experience preferred

* Working knowledge of MS Office products. null
