Job Description:

You will be part of the Brokerage Systems Admin team and work in close cooperation with the brokerage departments, Customs team, and the European IT department. Your role is to maintain, manage the brokerage software, and to review change requests from the brokerage operations and prioritize the requests. You will explain what is requested to the Region IT team and make sure that requests are completed in the order of priority/urgency and on time. You need to be a result driven team player with a ‘can do’ attitude. The Brokerage Systems Admin Specialist coordinates all activities within the project team and reports to the Brokerage Manager.

Tasks and Responsibilities

  • Manage and Coordinate Country Brokerage clearance system through NCTS5 – Passar – Edec

  • Point of contact with Customs programming team.

  • System Update / Upgrade implementation – User Acceptance Test

  • Problem Solving resolution.

  • Brokerage Users support

  • Project Management

  • Supports Business and IT in all stages of the project execution.

  • Satellite MS/SQL applications programming and maintenance.

Requirements

  • Solid business acumen

  • Very good knowledge of Brokerage processes and customs requirements

  • Very good knowledge of MS Office, especially MS Access

  • Solid knowledge of SQL preferred.

  • German - Fluent business English

  • Willingness to travel

  • Good interpersonal and communication skills

  • Good analytical skills

  • Can work well when under pressure.

Working hours

On a full-time basis and depending on the needs of the project. Work during nights and weekends will be required in specific instances.
