Position Summary

Applicants should have either completed their requirements for a Ph.D. or be close to completing their Ph.D. requirements in Engineering. Any discipline (e.g., Electrical and Computer Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Applied Mathematics, Aerospace Engineering, or Computer Science), with a clear interest in the general area of multi-agent systems, optimization and game theory are encouraged to apply.

Specific areas of research include:

  • Game-theory

  • Optimization and learning

  • Stochastic systems

Position responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Assumes a pivotal role as the primary contributor on multi-agent pursuit algorithm design, development, analysis and evaluation in software

  • Administers and documents the research findings and software developed using Git and other relevant tools.

  • Participates in the lab’s outreach activities related to the research carried out.

  • Demonstrates the ability to effectively communicate and explain research findings and technical details to the customers and various stakeholders.
